Hi underwater life friends

New postby ingoderdaucher » May 19, 2009 - 6:26 am

Hi,

My name is Ingo and I designed and programmed a website together with a friend called Your Divebook:
http://www.yourdivebook.com

It is mainly a rich media logbook and community for scuba divers, but the section "underwater life" might be interesting for all you guys here: It collects all underwater lifeforms in a kind of encyclopedia. All members can then easily link the underwater life to their logged dives. The combined information is used to record distributions of certain species and tells everybody where to go, to - e.g. - spot a whale shark while diving.

It started just 3 months ago. So, if you are diving or interested in this, have a look and also leave some comments here as feedback for us!

Thanks.
Ingo
